at least someone is happy...

so i'm sitting in my little room across from the men's bathroom and the happiest papa smurf person just walked down the hallway, singing "i don't know, i don't know, la, la, la" into the bathroom, singing loudly in the bathroom, then walked out, singing his "i don't know song" all the way back down the hall.  when i first started my phd, i had this really cushy "penthouse" room on the fifth floor with a window, overlooking farm lane...but in my 2 years now across from the bathroom, with all of the things i see and hear, i can tell you it's surely a lot more entertaining!
